Default *nEwBiE* Headlight fog...

Hi all...I have a question, hopefully someone can help! I have a 03 Accord coupe and just today after I washed it, I noticed a little bit of condensation inside of the headlight. I'm usually very good about inspecting my headlights for fog <cuz I hate when headlights get all funky looking!> n-e-wayz I've never noticed the fog before. I'm curious as to what causes this. They are stock headlights, not projectors or not anything aftermarket. *pls bear in mind that I live in Bakersfield CALI and it was like 5pm when I washed the car but it was still 110 degrees!!!* Could the extreme heat have something to do with it? It's only a little bit of condensation in the upper corner of my headlight...my only concern is that I have the HID light swap in my headlights <not just bulbs, but the actual HID SWAP>. I'm worried the condensation could mess up my lights. Is this something I should take to HONDA to be serviced? or is it not that big of a deal? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Don't take it to a dealer. I'd just keep an eye on it, if it doesn't go away, try removing the bulbs and just leaving them out overnight allowing the inside to vent and see if that lets it dry out. Don't lose any sleep over it. Differeing humidity levels can cause this. Some aftermarket ones will fog up due to a crappy seal, but since yours are stock, just watch it and see what happens.

if you did a full HID conversion (like retrofit) theres a chance that your headlight housing didnt seal 100%, which is gonna be awright for the most part. if you use a high-pressured hose or even a normal one while pointing it around the edges of your headlight for a long time, theres a chance that some of that water can be forced inside. and then add your crazy high temps, and you'll see a bit of condensation.

the condensation should go away in a few mins after you wash. my advice would be to take it easy when pointing your hose at your lights. ive got retrofits and its happened to me before, but it only happened once. even in heavy rain, it hasnt come up. so you'll be awright.
