Default 30,000 maintenance

I am getting ready to come up on 30,000 mile marker with my Accord. I am fairly new to the area and still don't have an est. mechanic that I can trust. I called the Honda dealership about the 30,000 check up and they suggested that the transmission fluid be changed. Is this accurate? I am also having the usual tire rotation, oil change, air filter replaced, etc, but the transmission fluid? Have any of you had this done? Should I wait longer? Any suggestions?

Don't wait longer. A 30k on this car should also get a brake fluid change.
