i have carsound highflow cat. they had to weld a o2 bung. but yes, i passed va emissions, even with turbo.

ebay high flow cats are test pipes, and you will not pass smog in most states like CA

they arent branded "ebay"

carsound cats on ebay are 50 state emissions legal.

i have a test pipe that the o2 sensor is connected into
i just bought a car sound hi flo cat now the test pipe i have to cut but not the hole pipe just up to were the sensor is still in the pipe then weld the
hi flo cat on but will there be any check engine light if i do this cut and weld

If you live in NC and have an OBD1 car, all you need is something that resembles a cat on the outside since there is no emissions test for obd1 here anymore

OBD II test uses the plug under the dash that takes readings of your exhaust at the o2 plugs at the cat. The only way i've heard of guy passing an OBD II emission test with a crappy cat or straight pipe is by using those "spacer" type things on the O2 sensor(s). They basically make the sensor read less than its supposed to thus passing the test.
