If it is worth the money and the effort to put them in, go for it. We are not trying to discourage you from doing it, just helping you realize that their may be drawbacks. In your case, you may not even have any problems, but there is always the possibility.

If you want to wrestle to get the alternator and power steering bolts off and pay money for minimal gains, more power to you. Personally, I would save my money for something more worthwhile.

I have not heard anything about HP gains from the topside pulleys but the crank pulley, Unorthodox Racing's lightweight crank, I am interested in that one. I have a set of AEM underdrive pulleys, brand new I am willing to sell...does anyone have any experience with the UR underdrive crank pulley????

The alt. and P/S pulley work by making the diameter of the pulley larger. Lightning the pullies helps too but the ticket is the larger diameter of the pulley.

It makes the moment to turn the assesory less, so in effect your car works less at running the Alt. and p/s. This energy instead of going into the devices in theory is used by the engine to better keep energy in the system. Thus keep more HP at the wheels.
