okay, so I lost the plastice "bolt" (for lack of a better word) that holds it, like right behind the back seat.. anywhere I can buy this?

If the dealership won't sell you just that little part, I've had good luck going to the local "pick and pull" and ripping it off of one of their Honda carcasses. Accords are a dime a dozen in any decent junkyard and I've never paid more than a couple bucks for small parts like this.

Example: the stupid fuel filler door latch. I paid $3 bucks for one at the pick & pull and the dealership wanted to sell me the whole cable assembly.

 

yea, just take one of the bolts/plugs and put it in your pocket and leave.

 

good idea, will check junk yards on monday. It really urks me though, becuase the damn thing is somewhere in my house, just don't know where.
