Default 05 Accord Taillight trouble

i just recently bought some Taillights for my 05 accord coupe, i tried to remove the stock lights(after taking out all the (visible) screws) it would not budge. i then took it to a friend who also tried the same thing, still couldnt get it out. anyone have any suggestions, or could it be some hidden screws behind the bumper?

anything will help, thanks!

the best thing you can do is this: look at the aftermarket tails you bought for your coupe. They should mount the exact same way...so look at them carefully, and compare to what's already on your car. Hence any possible hidden screw holes would show up on your aftermarket tails. It IS possible there are a couple screws that would involve removing the rear bumper cover.

to get the taillights out of any gen 7 accord you must remove the rear bumper

and could this possibly a "do-it-yourself" project, i dont wanna risk messing anything up while trying it myself...or would it be best to take to a professional

Do it yourself ... Removing a bumper cover isn't that difficult. It's a couple of screws and 10mm bolts, the end.

Make sure your exhaust is cold when you're doing this though. You don't want to burn yourself if you touch it on accident.
