93 Accord check engine light 12
Hey guys.
I love my honda but I'm having this reoccuring problem. I cleaned the ports on the intake runners. They were clogged. I thought this would solve the problem but on a drive the light came on again. I just reset the pcm by disconnecting the battery. Also I replaced the EGR valve (used) before I cleaned the ports.Sometimes the light will come on quickly other times it may take a while. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Next time dont clear the code. Read the code. Let us know what it is. freeze frame data will also be stored when the light comes on, that can be examined as well to help determine vehicle conditions when the code popped up.

sounds like you have a problem with the EGR system either the soloniod or EGR valve or connections as on the 93 the computer doesn't care if the EGR ports are clogged, it just causes the car to stumble .
