Default Second opinion

I have a 95 accord. Recently the break pedal slowly goes almost to the floor when the weather is hot. At night when I drive it works normally. The car stops acceptably but I think that the master cylinder is going out. I am looking for a second opinion before i spend $$.

Thanks a bunch

bob s.

If it feels spoungy, it's due to a worn primary(12) or secondary(15) cup.

95 Accords, very very very common to have master cylinder go byebye. Typically during hot weather is when pedal goes to floor. My 95 Accord has a new master put in two years ago.

If it were anything but the master cylinder you would have brake fluid leaking all over teh place.
