Default Code P0133

OK, check engine light on, take to the stealer-ship and have it read. Code is P0133. Readout states O2 sensor slow response and the suggested fix is a fuel injection cleaning.

Is there something special they can do that dumping a quality fuel injection cleaner into a full tank of gas can't? Is it worth $170 bones for them to do it?

If the O2 is throwing a cde for slow respons than a fuel additive or injector cleaning isn't gonna fix it. The Sensor is on its way out and should be replaced.

Thats a funny pitch to sell a fuel flush though.

i believe for the 5th gen accord the o2 sensors are under warranty and if u decide to buy it, i suggest u buy it from autozone with lifetime warranty.

Slow response is a pretty definate description. Nothing that I'm aware of will cause that but a faulty sensor.
