93 Accord the key wont come out of the ignition switch. Does any one know how to fix this problem ? It just happened today 3pm in Ohio.
I would really appreciate anyones help with this problem.

 

Have you tried putting the car in Nuetral and putting it back into park, then turning it to the off position, it may release the key again. Are you parked on an incline, is the steering wheel locked?

 

Is this a auto? If so it might be the select switch( inhibitor switch)
going bad. Your in park, but select switch says you are still in
gear so the key won't release.

 

The trans is a automatic . I called the dealer for any suggestes, They ask me to bring them the key cylinder and my vin # , I got to the dealer 5 mins before they closed. Here to find out my key was so wore out the key got stuck on a tumbler inside the cylinder.
I want to thank everyone who answered my question, gave there opion to help me.
My key cylinder is fixed now. I needed a new key for the total price of $2.50 .
