i have a 99 accord and need to get the timing belt/water pump done ASAP, i think i gonna do it myself but dont really want to pay 70 for a bok i might never use again, could anybody that has the helms manual for 1999 accord scan the section about replacing the timing belt/water pump and possibly email it to me. THZ
Buying a book for 70 bucks that contains more information than you are looking for is cheaper than paying someone to do the job for you. I'd buy the book in case there is some need for it down the road.
yea but ill probably never use that book again, i dont see anything more complicated than the timing belt job, everything else i can pretty much do/figure out.
hey does anybody know if the tensioner is recommended to be replaced also, and are there any special tools needed to replace the seals(i think like crank seal, cam seal), could u rent these tools out??
