Default 90K maintenence...

Hey guyz, can I perform a 90K maintenence on my 98 accord EX sedan on my own? What do i need and how much is the difference if i go to a Honda Tech VS. DIY? thanks...

wont make any difference... Change the air filter, spark plugs, timing belt, oil...

do a tune up urself but the timing belt/water pump..., are not easy to do and are the most critical work u will do to ur car.

You need the dealership or someone else to do the timing belt, seals, belts and water pump unless you know how to yourself. All of that should be due about the 90K mark.

Buy a Helms manual. They cost $60, all the service is detailed in there, and you'll save about $400.

You can do all of that yourself if you have the tools and information. If you arent sure, pay someone who can.
