Default DIY? TINT removal

I need to trade-in my accord soon. so would it be ok to just leave it on and take it to dealer? lol it's only 35% all over in MD, I think that's legal but still. Before I take it to the shop, I wanna know if I can remove at home. I think the problem is that sticky residues and back window b/c of that antenna and heat wire thing.
lotta work to do before that.

If the tint is in good shape and is legal (32-35%), why go through the hassle of taking it off even if you plan to sell it?

Removal is fairly straight-forward. You need soapy water and a razor. The rear window can be a little tricky. They make a chemical that needs to be applied so as to separate it from the rear defogger, etc. Once you get the tint taken off, you'll just need to clean them up really well with some Windex or whatever.

When I recently took my Accord to a tint shop to have the 4 side windows redone, they had the old tint off of them in less than 10 minutes.

Do a search on the forum for possibly more details, etc.
