Default someone broke into my car grrrrrrrr fkng thieves

last night i got home late around 1:30am and i park the car a block away from my place "i no longer have a garage" . i was trying to startup the car with the remote starter this morning and it wouldnt work so i was like wtf let me go see if my car still here lol. the car is there but i am next to my car and the alarm dont work cant open door etc.. then i notice the passenger side door open then i look at the hood and i see is a little open, so righ there i knew. i open the hood and i see the battery disconnected fkfkfkfk. i check everything but all look fine they didnt take anything . when i get inside i notice the multilock was a little open about half way but not fully. it look like they were trying to force the multilock open since cutting is going to take time. i also have a club on the steering wheel which it was untouch. i am just glad the car is still there and i am glad i have never gotten a aftermark radio, i have stock radio tape with cd player and was untouch. I am really worry they will come back again because they failed to take anything and specially the aftermark stuff i have n my trunk that i havent even install. I am thinking something scare them away. the car was park on a busy street and is a nice neighboorhood plus there was a mercedes park behind me and a nice civic n front of me and all this next to a $600k house. the only attraction they can notice is my wheels and the drop. i have the EXL so i know they can make money n the leather and i no longer have dark dark tints, and wheels plus suspension but nothing else this suck i am going to get even more chit to prevent this. I think someone driving around most have see me park the car and as i walk away, i always check for anyone following me. the weird thing is when i walk away i had a feeling something was going to happen to my car and i turn around a couple of times and i saw a car park next to mine posibly another honda or toyota i couldnt tell i was about a block away and too many trees. another reason why alarms and other things are not useless. I wish i could get the fingerprints from where they pop the hood. btw the passenger door is perfect they most have use a key i guess.

Damn man that sucks. Fortunately none was taken or damaged in the process. Just keep an eye on your car and don't park too far from your place next time.

BTW, reading your thread made my head hurts. You have to write in paragraphs man if you're going to write that much.

no neighborhood is safe from thieves.
Its those neighborhoods that thieves love to go to to steal cars.

They stole my sisters car from in front of our house ( and our house is about 500k ) so dont let that foul you that a safe neighborhood = no car thieves.

Chances are they did want your leather seats cause thats what they took from my sisters car when it was recovered.

What neigborhood are you in?

and to think you just replaced your hood....

In general:

1. Keep valuables and general items out of sight (and/or even in the trunk)
2. Lock the doors
3. Park close to your place
4. Park near or under lights after dark
5. An alarm?

Even if it's private property still go ahead and file a police report to have it on record, etc...

Sorry that happened.

would parking under the street lights be better or worst? cuz the lights might illuminate the inside...

they probably had a slim jim, or just a coat hanger. they don't have to fuck anything up to unlock your doors. after that, it only takes a few seconds to pop the hood and disconnect the battery.

it's better. when someone's breaking into a car, or house or store or anything, they obviously don't want to be noticed. any source of light means that they'll be lit up, and much easier to see. ever notice how some stores leave some lights on after they close?
