My neighbor's 97 Accord was stolen a couple weeks ago. I live about 4 houses down, and my car can be seen from where theirs was parked. The police found the car at 4 am ditched on the side of the road. It was in pretty bad shape. The police found the kid who stole it. He was 15, and said he's stolen so many Hondas, he can't remember how many. The car wasn't stripped or anything and nothing was missing from the inside. He just stole it, drove it around for 3-4 hours and wrecked it. It is in the body shop now being repaired, but it probably won't ever be the same. I now keep mine parked in the back close to my window and am having an alarm system installed soon.

Man why don;t yall just get Low Jack. GPS system. thats the best shite out rite now durhh!!!!... why would they go under the driver side wheel lining? When they can just pull the window open reach in and unlock the door pop the hood open and kill the alarm with out any damage. i've seen it done b4. Alarms and the Club thing on the steering dont work for crap! Alarms dont work because some alarms can be short circuited by fusing together the signal light wires that blink when alarms go off this only works on some alarms or if they smart enuff they would find the alarm brain and just unplug the harnest and your car is gone. If u want something cheap that works really well, get the brake lock. Its kinda like the club but its locks the brakes up instead of the steering wheel. It works wonders. I recommend Low Jack and the brake lock. Case CLose! They can always get a tow truck and tow it hahah!!!!

so that they wouldnt set off the alarm...and attract attention.

for older card, lowjack would be too expensive. you have to pay monthly and shit.

the brake thing you are talking about is called the autoloc, good stuff. i have all kinds of shit on my car. was going to put in a fuel cutoff switch but my alarm has starter kill and w/ the autoloc, if they cant press ont eh clutch...they cant start the car.

hood lock so they cant pop the hood. siren with buildin battery works good, goes off when alarm or cables are cut/disconnect. u cant turn off the siren unless u have the key or just pull the siren from the car and it will still b going off like crazy even out of the car lol. low jack is useless, my friend had low jack in his avalanche. they couldnt find the vahicle using low jack, the police found it a month later without the low jack and stripp. i wish i can get the gps tracking from DEI it will call ur phone / pager/ even email u if ur car is turn on or move and u can track every bit and have full control, turn off, lock unlock doors etc... the point of having clubs, multilock fuel cutoff etc... is too slow them down while the siren goes off and eventually they give up run or straigh to jail. hopefully the thieves get his hands cutoff.

LowJack isnt the best thing out there..
#1. Thief steals car ( while your sleeping of course)
#2. Thief drives away in stolen car ( while your sleeping )
#3. Car gets stripped by thieves ( while your sleeping )
#4. Car gets dumped on the side of the road ( probably while your brushing your teeth in the morning.
#5. You go outside find car missing
#6. You call police.
#7 Lo-Jack activated/ car located
#8. Car found stripped down with the lo jack still intacted.

My opinion on how effective a lojack system is.
Unless your car is sitting in a warehouse about to be shipped over to Asia or India its worthless.
By the time you notice the car is missing it will be stripped down. So how effective would this be/
