Installing AEM Tru-power pulleys?
Ok before you totally flame me for help post no. 3 or the fact I'm actually thinking of these, I'm getting desperate to get the smallest gains out of my OE Accord, the wife's Auto. TSX is just putting my meager F23 to shame, I figure it's time to pull out the stops and if that doesn't help, Nitrous is a mear $499 kit and a weekends install time, provided I get the new clutch.
I only floor the cars on entrance ramps most times so I'm not installing a turbo kit just to hit I-55 North going to work at 90mph that-much-faster, only to sit in rush hour traffic for an hour 13-miles up the road.
In anycase, I've seen first hand accounts of folks not being able to get the alternator pulley off the Alt. to install the underdrive pulleys. Any advice on how to best remove the pulleys. Mine look pretty rusty after 5 years of ownership.
Let me guess, some folks just simply purchase a new Alternator, that's seams extreme.
I'm running an OE stock stereo and I planned to add a yellow top ultima battery as a precaution for the Alternator pulley as well, assuming the install can be completed.
