OK, When rebuilding my S-1 tranny I rec'd individual parts from GEAR-SPEED and a synchro kit from another company. I had to search for a while before finding the items but finally I "struck gold".
Now I have a 15/16 brake Master Cylinder opened and the cylinder is perfect. I go to look for seals to use for the re-build and ............nothing. I can't find a rebuild kit. I can't find a source for new pistons or springs or seals ....nothing!!!!!!!!
Does anyone know a source for M/C seals?? If there are rebuilt M/Cs available at my local parts counter then someone has a source for seals - how can they rebuild without a source??? GIVE UP YOUR M/C SEAL SOURCE.
Who are these "re-builders"??
Do they think I will kill the market?
I sure did put the tranny people out of business by refurbishing the S-1 myself. I'm going to find these M/C seal mongers.
I am rebuilding a 93 accord M/C size 15/16 with both connectors on the drivers side of the cylinder. The firewall flange is higher on the passenger side and angles down to the driver's side.
Any ideas for a search or answers concerning the shadowy M/C "seal" conspiracy are welcome.
