It goes away when i brake but starts up again as soon as i let off the break. i dont know what it could be. Its coming from my right front tire area, if anyone has any idea what this problem is, please help

When was the last time you changed the brake pads? Some time they put those "tattles" in you brake pad to let you know your about to need to replace them.

hmmm....I doubt it would be the shims because the noise goes away when he applies the brakes.

Im thinking the boot but i know there is something else that makes a clanking noise
(ex: when you turn your wheel something sounds like a clatter ) <---could be that part...I just cant think of its name right now.

It most definitely is your wear indicators (or tattle). From my experience. they actually make a high pitch noise with the brake NOT on; and go away when brakes are applied.
