oh and i know the tires are too big...just got'em...wrong size...225/45/17 falken azenis sports with about 35 miles on them...on sale for 300 bucks so i can get the right size

 

both cars look awesome... but not a big fan of black rims.... gunmetal OK, but black rims just look like steelies from far :P

main reason i bought the rims on the accord was for the design, weight (14lbs each), and strength (ive hit every pothole in the state with no worries)...the rims were more of a performance upgrade than anything, although i really wish they had come with a polished lip. i guess i could have that done, but i wouldn't feel right modifying volks lol. when i get my TSX it's gettin bronze work emotion CR's.... i thought about refinishing these in bronze...but i just wouldn't feel right about it lol i like the way it looks tho, i like the dark theme.

 

what rims are they? they weren't available in any other color?

not even from very far away, especially if the car's moving.

 

volk racing SE37K 17x7.5... they were available in bronze, but i wanted black...just with a polished lip. i saw them in all black on a 2000 electron blue civic Si in a magazine...i fell in love with them right then so that's the rims i got. i love my black wheels. and like i said, im alot more concerned with the weight, strength, more than i am with what people can and cant see from far away. if i wanted something people would look at i woulda got some 28" spinners haha function over fashion...but in this case i love the fashion
