Default 92 accord ex problem...any advice? Thanks!

Hi all,
I've had this problem with my 92 ex manual coupe for almost 6 months now. Just to make a long story short, it started with...after driving for a few minutes, when stepping on the gas, the rpm wouldn't rev up and the car would shake and no matter how I step on the gas, it'll just shake and won't accelerate. The funny thing is it goes away after a minute or so and then the rest of the trip is fine. It was like that in the winter and now it would do it anytime it feels like it. Does anyone know what can be causing it? I've had my mechanics looked at and they only did a tune up for me and the problem still exist. The car has 120k miles and still runs fine except that at certain times, the car just won't go when I shift into gear to accelerate. I've tried fuel injector cleaners, no luck. What can be causing the problem?

If you don't think it's the fuel injectors, check the spark. (i.e. Distributer, wires, plugs, etc...)

I am just taking the mechanics advice that it's not the fuel injector (the mechanics all used to work for Honda's). When they did the tune up, they changed the spark plugs, wires, etc I think. The only thing left on the list is a distributor which was replaced about 5 1/2 years ago. Doesn't a failing distributor knock out the car's power from starting the car?
