nope it was not just regular halogens. These were HID's. The output was wide and high compared to my regular Xenon halogens.

if these were aftermarket, they were damn good aftermarket ones. looked like OEM.
Thats negative, they can not be special order that way ether, at
least for the U.S market. Honda has always limit amount of options,
except for major stuff like Nav, side airbags, etc. then everything else
is handle as dealer installed options, but no HID.
I like to see them on the Accord, at least on the upper EX or EXL. But
maybe Honda thinks the typical Accord owner is not ready for them, or
to keep some gap between the TL and the top line Accords.

No the dealer will special order anything you want. They asked my bro when he bought his RSX-S if he wanted JDM headlights which Im pretty sure were HID. The price was shit ridiculous but they will do it for you for a price.

That's up to the dealer, has nothing to do with AHM. A dealer can
pretty much sell what ever they want as long they do not claim it OEM, or
covered by the factory warranty. I also work for a dealer, 20 plus years.

I have an accord hybrid and I have been looking at ways to upgrade my lights with HID. I have pia extreme white lights now, which look much nicer than the factory lights, but I don't believe they are any brighter.

I have aftermarket HID"s and when I turn on my headlights they do flicker. They turn from a white to a blueish white.
