Default Do I Need to Loosen Screws to Get Headlight Bulb Out?

I'm replacing the driver's side low beam headlight bulb on my '02 Accord EX V6 Coupe. I've seen a bunch of posts talking about muscling the bulb out of the headlight assembly. Is it that simple with the '02 Accords or do the three screws that surround the headlight bulb base need to be loosened first to allow the bulb to be rotated? You can see two of the three screws in the attached picture. The other question I have is how do I remove the black rubber/plastic intake tube which is right next to the headlight bulb and limiting access to the bulb?

Thanks in advance!

loosening up the screw first will make your job 10x easier.

Use an angled philips screwdriver and find someone with small hands.

Yep, I always have to loosen mine a bit. Usually I just loosen the two most accessable ones.

Not sure on the V6s, but on my I4, you just pull the air intake straight out.

The problem is that the air intake is actually under a metal flange, meaning getting it out is going to be real difficult. I'll try loosening the two somewhat-accessible screws first and see if that does the trick. Thanks!

I replaced the headlight this evening. First I loosened the two somewhat accessible screws shown in the picture. Once I did that, the bulb practically fell out!! Whoever is telling people to muscle the bulb out without any mention of loosening those screws either doesn't know what they're talking about or is crazy! Just wanted to post this for anyone that reads this thread in the future.
