Default 1994 Accord with H22A

I was just going to see if anyone else has done this swap. I'm currently in the process of doing it. So far so good, haven't really ran into any problems. The only thing that I have had a problem with is the shift linkage. My car was an automatic, but I had to get rid of that it was just royal pain. So, I had to put shift linkage up to the engine bay. When I got to running them up to the tranny, they seemed to be really tight, and almost kinked. Then again it still has the automatic rear vaccume mount. I mean it shift through the gears fine, but I just don't want it to pop out of gears when the engine torques. I mean, it's not really a big deal, I was just wondering if anyone else has ran into this problem, and what they might have done about it to fix it.

Any how, I thought I might let ya guys know about my car. It's a 1994 Honda Accord EX. 4-door White The rims are one of a kind, haha they were an ebay deal, the eagle wheels, but since I'm a metal polisher they are now polished. The windows are tinted. The block, head, disturbitor, water neck, intake manifold, power steering pump, alt., and trans is all polished. The valve cover is powder coated candy apple red metallic, along with the AEM Cold air intake. Performance: AEM Cold Air intake, Apexi VTEC controller, AEM Fuel Rail, and Fuel Pressure Regulator, Full Stainless Exhaust with High flow cat. I'm currently in the process of making a turbo kit for it, using a turbonetics T3/T4 Turbo. Going to shoot for high horsepower 500-600 HP. KG Engineering is going to build the engine, or Rage Performance. For the exterior, I have the Wings West W-Type Body kit, with the Wings West Thruster style wing, and SLR style fender, and Invade Style carbon fiber hood. Most of the exterior isn't going to be till winter of 2005, unless work lets up. Tein lowering springs are also going to be added after the clutch get's burned in. I'm going to have to see how much the tires wear, once the front ones are gone then the lowering springs go on and new tires. Speaking of which what a good wet/dry tire with good traction with a good tread wear?? Well, i'm sure i've bored most of you by rambling on, so any thing you guys would like to let me know or pointer that would be great. Thanks.

Default Doing a swap?

You've never head of anyone doing an H22A swap, or a auto to 5-speed swap?

Haha na dude hes just messin with you. Do some searches on the board, especially the hybrid forum, and you'll see that is the most common swap among hondas. People have been doing this for probably close to 10 years now (i assume someone tried it when the 94s first came out). The 5speed swap is also pretty common nowadays too. I myself will be doing the h22 into my 94lx later this summer....maybe doin the 5spd conversion too.

As for your tire question, im rollin on 17s with continental conti-extreme contacts. They are high performance all-season Z rated and id say they are pretty decent.
For snow i'd give them a 9 for snow, rain an 8, and dry a 7 mainly because the soft sidewall rolls a tad but they are still really good for the price i paid (85 a piece). I think next time ill try out the ASXs or if i have alot of cash the pirelli pzero neros. Tirerack did a test recently of those 3 tires plus the goodyear eagle RS-As, i suggest checking that out.
