i was just wondering if it's possible to swap front bumpers between the 2dr and 4dr on 6th Gens. Like take a coupe bumper and put it on the sedan. I have a 2k2 sedan and just like the coupe bumper better. I was thinking about either buying a new coupe bumper or going to a junk yard and looking for one.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure on 2002. I know on 98-00 the hood AND the front bumper are different, cause a guy on some board wanted the coupe bumper and had to get a coupe hood to fit it. It has to do with the way they come together between the headlights.

 

so if i get the hood and the bumper and replace both, should it work?

 

yes they are interchangable but the hood on sedan might not flow with the line of the coupe's upper grill so you might as well change the hood

this is a pic taken in Taiwan where there's NO accord coupe. so this car could be an imported coupe or a sedan with coupe's bumper and hood. decide urself

i wanted to swap it if it was just a matter of bolting the stupid thing on, but if it's gonna take that much work... then forget it...

u can use only the bumper if u dont mind the small gap by the grill, or buy a coupe hood from a guy that bought a CF hood
