I've done many searches and I have 02 accord 4dr...
I want to get this clear and red tail light, slightly looks like stock but its not.
they only got 98-00. does anyone has 00-02 4dr with that tail lights?
where can I find it? I want it so bad

yeah, they only make it for the 98-00.... u can find tons of those tail lights on ebay.... got mine from procarparts.com .... dun have a good pix of it, but here's how it looks from the side

 

call me crazy, but don't the 00 and 02's already have tails like that?

the earlier run 6th gens have this nasty pink and red combo going on.

 

I put those on my 98 because they looked similar to the 01/02.
I don't think the aftermarket companies will see a market for just
putting the clear on top rather then the bottom on the 01/02.

 

the 00 and 02 came already with red/clear except the clear part was at the bottom

 

You can remove the orange square out of the taillight by heating the lights up and taking them apart and then remove the orange square seal them back up and you have red clear tails for free.

 

red clears are the best things ever invented...yup...better than miracle whip on a hot summer's afternoon in guatalahara...and yes i spelled that horribly wrong but i really dont care because i just worked 12 hours and im delirious... and im sure i spelled that wrong too, but procarparts is where i got my red clears from too

 

i'm pretty certain that you can fit those on your car. the connections for both cars are the same, just flipped. if you know anyone with a 98-00 accord, you should try to install their lights on your car before you buy just to make sure

 

This is the easiest method for us 01-02 accord sedan owners.
HEat up the lamp and remove it.

 

The only way the 98-00 tails will fit onto a 01-02 is if you swap on a 98-00 trunk as well. The outboard lights will fit but Honda restlyed the trunk slightly in 01 so those red clears won't fit onto the trunk of a 01-02. Here's a pic, the lights in the center most portion are about an inch or so taller on the 02 and license plate area is different as well.
