LOL. Maybe I will bring it down and mod out my wiper blades then. I have a friend that is a Sales Manager at the dealership I bought the car, I know he really will not have much say, but I will see what he says. Thanks Kai! Let me know about those blades!

Watch wiring the audio. Do not cut any wires associated with the head unit, or you can trash some expensive stuff. You can probably upgrade speakers. If you have an amp that accepts high input levels, I know for sure you can add a sub amp. I ran one for a while with no trouble.

You could do cosmetic stuff. Get some wheels and tires. I can't imagine a spoiler kit would be a problem, unless you create some rust issues, but I'm not an expert, nor have I heard of a situation. You need a stiffer trunk spring to compensate for the added weight to the trunk as well.

Beware of lowering your car excessively. They could make trouble over that, especially if you have a body kit in conjunction to lowering. Techs get twitchy about them since they could be damaged by their lifts.

I'd suggest that you research any mod you plan on doing to make sure there will be no issues with reliability, and hopefully there will be nothing that requires warranty, but that's the gamble. Personally, I'm waiting a while before doing suspension mods beyond just the sway bar I switched out (which I recommend highly)

There's actually a special tool to get those in and out. They can be an SOB.

Yeah, kits F'in suck. Thankfully, people who mod their cars rarely take them to the dealer for service.

If it is cat-back exhaust and that exhaust was carb approved i dont think they could deny anything. Anything after the cats just has to do with noise and has nothing to do with performance or the computer etc....having carb approval and a warranty on the installed part can help too...that way if honda says it caused a problem you can go to installer and let them fight with honda over whos problem it is to fix....they both cant be right.

Just my .02

What will the stiffer spring do?

Where did you find mods for your 04? Is it a sedan or coupe?

And I was thinking about doing audio, hooking it up to a computer that will be either in the trunk or in the front some how. I was going to try use the existing deck but I was waiting to see if I could get some further info on the stock radio.

With a spoiler, the trunk will be too heavy for the stock trunk springs and it won't stay open. When you buy a spoiler at a dealer, we install the new spoiler, wiring harness, and new springs stiff enough to hold the trunk open.

It's a sedan. Search for threads on here about TL-S sway bars to find out more. I posted some pics, and there are various discussions about it on HAN.

I don't know much about the factory unit, other than you can't simply swap it out with an aftermarket head unit. BTW, what's the computer for?

Yeah, the HVAC controls are worked in with it making it a huge PITA. Just about the only thing you can do is rewire the speakers and put the new head unit in the glove box.

Computer (laptop possibly) is going to be for audio/video for starters, wirelessly connected to the inside of the house to download music and video to the car, I know to replace the factory unit is a PITA was thinking under the factory unit in the storage space would be a good place for a new head unit, how would you work it in the glove box though Kai?

Search around for a kit. They make one to install a head unit in the center section of the console, I think where the storage area is.
