Guys, does anybody have a good explanation/advice on how to fix P1382 code on a '98 4-cyl Accord - CYP sensor . According to honda shop manual I checked the CYP cirquit all the way from distributor to PCM and it shows, as expected, 900 ohm, no shorts on the body. Do I have to change distributor? This sensor is a magnetically (?) activated induction coil , as far as I understand. Any ideas?
Latest addition: Changed the distributor housing with brand new CYP sensor, - same problem. i am really at a loss. The only other option left is to change PCM...
