Can anyone tell me what is causing the driver side power window not to work. When pressing the power switch down, the window moves about half an inch and stops. When the window is stuck, there is spinning noise coming from within the door. The motor is fine, it it possibly the regulator ?

Somtimes when it gets stuck, the window can be pushed a little and then pressing the power switch results in a half inch movement. I am trying to repair it myself because the door panel can be damaged by incorrect remeval.

open up the door panel and try using the power window switch again. Try to pinpoint the problem and make sure if the motor is really ok, because I still think something is wrong with the motor.
