Default '00 Accord SE Front Windshield Replacement

First off, thanks to all those participating in this forum. Your experience and knowledge is immeasurable...
I'm looking to replace the front windshield due to a massive crack on the passenger side. I received a quote from a Honda Srv Cntr, of $700 (P & L) This seems a bit high, so I figured I post here to find out if anyone else replaced their front windshield/molding and what it cost.
Also I've heard that replacing the windshield can be tricky due to the molding, and was wondering if it is wise to take my car to anyone but a Honda Srv Cntr.
Thanks all

I used www.89glass.com for my last repair.

I've had several windshields and this was the best, even used the same tempertech OE honda glass.

It cost me $160.00 to replace mine at a local shop in Sol Cal, same OE temp glass they used 3m Glue and reused the molding.

I had mine replaced for $200, just call around a few places and you'll be set. Going to a dealership is pointless because they will rip you off.

Yeah, first check to see if your insurance will cover it. It's called auto glass coverage or something. But it should be no more than $300 to do the work. I found a spot in New York City that replaced my windshield last week for $120
