I have a stock 2001 Accord V6 and for the past month the speedometer appears to stick at 42 MPH and then jumps to 50 MPH. This happens everytime I pass 40 and also when slowing down below 50, it pauses then jumps to 42. Car only has 40k and other then that speed range all is well. Any ideas?

 

I have worked on similar problem a lot this month. I'd say replace a speedometer.
