Default CD Deck installation on '98 Accrod

Can anyone let me know how to take off the cover where my stock cassette player is so I could install my new CD / MP3 player for the car? I was only able to take the 2 screws located right above the transmission but I still wasn’t able to unmount that off the car…I am pretty sure there must be other screws that are hidden somewhere I have to unscrew in order to take it out and install the new player properly?

You have to remove the clock by prying it out with a screwdriver. Theres a screw behind it. Then the trim piece pops off. Unclip the AC controls and your done.

one thing to add is to tape the tip of the screwdriver to protect the dash plastic when prying out the clock. learn from my mistake.

follow what they suggested, and you're on your way.

summary:
2 screws under the trim
1 screw behind the clock
be sure to undo any harnesses
and you're set.
