Here's my advice (and yes, you did ask for it)

1. Leave the stock suspension and use oem wheels and tires.
2. Keep the 18s and lower the car to reduce the unsightly wheel gap.
3. Go back to oem wheels and tires and lower the car to get rid of the still somewhat unsightly wheel gap with stock running gear.

Thats it, you can't go throwing huge sidewall tires on 18s and expect that to "fix" your problem. The largest you could really go would be something like 225/40/18 or 215/45/18 (the latter of which would likely be borderline acceptable).

And get rid of the neons.
I can see where your saying keep the stock suspension, but what do you mean use the oem wheels and tires? then to keep the 18s and get bigger tires? I want to get bigger tires, put my rims on them, then drop my car a few inches.

the neons are foolish, they serve no purpose but to attract useles attention of ppl who car nothing about cars but are solely superficial... just like someone who is all about looks.

you can lie all you want, you added the neons to try and get chicks... but to let you in on a little secret... girls love FAST cars.... only the shallow ones like cars like that, and be careful you might just end up with a ditz... i see it all the time.

now as for the rest of the car, it's not that bad, but i do not sense any flow.

i like the color... seat covers :ghey:, but overall it still has potential... it is begging for a drop.. but then again it's also begging to only have one muffler cut-out...
neons are for show, i rarely turn them on, but probably will flash them all over the place when I get the car looking exactly how I want it. My car is basically all show, no go, if that wasnt obvious enough. Seat covers have been removed since those pictures were taken, in 2003. I do agree that they are gay, and I should of never wasted money on that. The exhaust was just to flow in well with the body kit's shape. Heres a useless picture I'll just throw at you guys.

But please, can we stick with the subject at hand? I thought this place was here to help, and it is. I'll take the constructive criticisim with comments about the neons and the seat covers, but atleast add some input on the project. Thanks.

if u put bigger tires on the car it'll look stupid as hell...one thing u can do if u want bigger tires, get 17's...1.5 drop should be str8...and if u're worried about the ride after drop, get some decent adjustable shocks. drop + stock shocks = f*cked up ride, bouncing, bottoming out, and blown shocks... but 1.5 and some decent shocks and u should be str8...if u put bigger tires on that car you may win best of show tho. it'll be the first 4WD accord in america

how about this.
i know how u feel about the road, boston and nyc is same chit. get some coilovers like i did good stuff that is. u can drop the car as much as u want especially n the summer and i am sure u can deal with the roads just like we all do. and n the winter u can have the car a little higher like i did this winter so i was able to drive n the snow/ice. oh the roads here are worst than in mass, is a fact lol. the red neon looks good to me, actually looks better than what i expected. i want those red neon n my car but only so they can flash at night when i hit vtech that would b cool. reason i dont buy a body kit is because of the road, i rather have a ganster drop. i know a bodykit wouldnt last a week on my car.

Just in case you wanna see...
I have the same rims but in silver on my 5th gen. I agree to go with the coilovers (I'm on skunks2s) I have 225/40/18 tires on mine, with just over 1.5 drop. And I think I have pretty good ground clearance, even with my body kit on. I don't worry tooo much about pot holes (The roads here in Miami are crap because they are always under construction)

I live in the boston area and I'm dropped and have never had a problem. get a 1.5in drop and some OEM rims and your ride will look pretty nice minus the altezzas.
