What Freaking Model Do I Own ?
I don't know where to start. Well I bought a beige 1997 Honda Accord Sedan with over 130,000 miles for 2500 so i thought I got a good deal. But the more and more research I do the weirder and weirder I feel. When I bought the car i noticed it had no pwer locks or windows, I thought I'll live. But Puting down that window is a burden especially when pulling up to drive throughs and tolls on cold days. And I look around and see so many cars and I cant ever find a Honda Accord with manual locks and windows. And another thing is There Is the Honda Accord DX, EX, LX and SE. BUt my car just says accord and nothing else? What does this mean? Is my car some no name factory recall or something? I am at the virge of selling the car just to get one with power locks and windows.
You have a DX, the lowest trim model, hence the manual windows and locks that are so annoying. Each generation varies slightly with what each trim model offers, but basically it gets more loaded as you go from DX, LX, SE, EX.
Register your car with the VIN number at Honda's Ownerlink Website
www.ahm-ownerlink.com
Once you enter the car's vin number, your profile will show the car's specs as far as year, model, trim, original int/ext colors and it will show any recalls that might need to be looked at. I use this site to keep track of all the maintence.

Stop including LX you guys. I'm supprised you don't already know that the LX has power everything except sunroof.
Also, it could be a special edition. I know it contradict what 4th gen special editions were, but on the 5th gen it's different. No power anything. It's just the interior and exterior has special colors and they coordinate with eachother.
