Type your VIN in carfax. You can see car info before you have to pay them.
Another way is www.honda.com owner link. there you will find everything about your car including interior color.

Also, it could be a special edition. I know it contradict what 4th gen special editions were, but on the 5th gen it's different. No power anything. It's just the interior and exterior has special colors and they coordinate with eachother.
On 5th Gen Accords (SE) They do have Power windows/LockSunroof. The SE is the next Model up from the LX in both the 5th & 6th Generation
The differences between the SE and the EX is that the SE has drums in the back and the EX has disc brakes, The SE has Cloth while the EX has available leather, The EX has VTEC (5th gen SE's didn't have VTEC) and the EX's have ABS and are available with a 5 speed while the SE has no ABS and stocks an automatic Tranny

thanx for all the help. One more question i am strongly considering adding power windows and locks my current options include buying the universal kits which i have no reviews or unbiased opinions for, or going to the junkyard and gutting some lx or ex doors ina matching color. What do you guys think and has anybody else tried this?

That's weird cause I saw one SE that was like a DX with body colored door handles and trim, but NO power option.

It was probably a DX with certain options. Remember on the DX, LX, SE, EX certain options are standard depending upon what model you get. But all of those options are available to any model. It just costs more and less of a headache for the salesman. You can get a DX or LX with an optional sunroof, but it's simpler to buy an SE, or EX.
Nissan does the same thing.

For the 3rd, 4th and 5th generations, that's correct. But for some reason, with the 6th generation, they made an SE model for 2000

what color are your mirrors and side moldings? if they're black, eg not body colored, you have a DX
