My car always starts with this intermittent starter (few tries) but it always starts. It getting to the point now where it sounds like it on its last leg ( old man gagging)

How much should this run me at Honda?

Should I get somewhere else?

 

i had a similar problem with my 95 accord last yr. at first it only took a few tries, then as time went by it became more and more until it looked like it wouldnt start at all. turns out the starter contacts were getting worn out. they're those half-moon shaped things inside the starter, and normally costs around $35. a new starter normally costs at least $150. hope that helps
