Where to put air breather??

my friend gave me this breather, but im confused about where to put it, can anybody help me find it , a picture would be great!!!!

Upper left corner of the valve cover, and youll have to plug the hole in your intake tube.

so wut does this thing actually do anyways..??

P.S wut shoudl i use to plug the hole????
