Default Need help with my new XM Radio

I have the EX-V6 with no NAV. I wanted to sign up for XM before the price jump in April.

I cannot get the radio to Channel 000. I can get to 001 which is the preview channel, but there is no way using the tune button to move off that channel once I'm there. Up/down does not work. I can move to another catagory and press the tune up/down and go from channel to channel, 150, 151, 152, but when it gets to the end of that catagory, it goes back, i.e. 150, 151, 152, 153, 150. It always says Catagory, is there a way NOT to be in a catagory and just tune each channel one at a time?

The rep at XM radio was lost. I called the dealer and they jsut gave me the old "bring it in" but I have to b e missing something. When listening to the preview channel, it says to tune down one channel. Argh! I can't!

I am in my trial period now, but I want to get the $9.99 rate before it goes to $12.99.

Any clues?

Did an owner's manual with instructions on operating the XM radio come with your car?

Edit: I have the SkyFi2 with a remote and all I have to do is press the up/down channel buttons. I can jump to categories but once I'm in them I can freely go to the next one. I assume that there's a button on the radio that you need to press.

Yes, I actually did resort to the manual. Not much help. Dealer didn't have a clue. I went back to the car and screwed around with it, and finally figured it out. Hold the RPT/DISP button down for 3 seconds and it will change from "CATAGORY" mode to "CH" mode.

I would have thought the dealer would have known this. Even the XM support looked up my radio and couldn't find the answer.

I also figured, Hey, I must have missed that in the manual. Nope, not a damn thing about holding that button in to switch modes.

Wouldnt be the first owners manual I had that sucked :-)
