i have been looking for this stupid connector for a good while now, armed with both the helms manual and a haynes manual.. i have had no luck.. i have a 1992 accord 2-door EX with a 5 speed.. i have been looking under the dash on the right side, and nothing only connectors with more then 2 pins.. the only thing that i have seen is under the passanger seat, but i have no idea what thats for. is there some other place i should be looking? does honda hide it up there? please help me, so i can turn that damn ABS light off

its inside the passenger side kick panel trim piece... the one that is just to the right of where the passenger would have their feet... its a blue connector taped to a wirring harness with blue tape.

Just playing with that connector isnt gonna turn the abs light off... you use it to check the code and see whats wrong...(probably a wheel speed sensor) and then you change whats wrong and your light will go off.

 

yeah, i wanted to find the connector, so i could jump it and see what the code was.. then sell my sole to the honda dealership for parts

 

HA! i did it! and i got 4-4 which is the right rear speed sensor, would i be safe to just replace it? or would i be better off going through the flow chart in the helms manual? i only ask because i dont have a multimeter

 

just change the sensor... they're not too bad to change... ive never done one myself, but its a pretty easy job. Once you change the sensor, the ABS module will again be able to read the speed and your ABS light will go off. Expect to pay around a hundred bucks for the sensor.
