help!h22.........ahhhhhhhh!!

Default help!h22.........ahhhhhhhh!!

okay.my tranny just crapped out on me so i need a new one,so i figure nows the time to throw in the jdm h22 in my 96 accord.will i pass inspection with obd 1?what happens when i need new parts,can the mechanic just replace them with usdm parts?what problems will arise from having this in my car such as difficulty finding parts and stuff.this is what is included:MOTOR,TRANNY,ENGINE WIRING HARNESS,ALL REQUIRED CABLES,ECU,DISTRIBUTOR,THROTTLE BODY,INJECTORS,COMPLETE INTAKE MANIFOLD,ALTERNATOR,A/C,POWER STEERING PUMP,ALL BRAKETS AND SENSORS.IS THIS ALL I NEED?please help before i spend $4000 dollars to do this.

no it has to be obd-2... unless you wanna rip open the engine and put in the obd-2 stuff find an obd-2 h22...

Just go to a shop my 95 w/jdm h22a was $3000 so where u spending that extra $1,000

What about doing odb1, you can convert to odb1 I think...someone clarify sry I have odb1 so I didnt do to much research on it

the obd 2 h22s seem to be about $500-$1000 more.i need to be able to pass an inspection so thats why i cant use a harness to convert to obd 2 from obd one.do you know any good sites where i can get an obd 2 h22 for cheap?i just ruined my f22 tranny so i need to get this h22 quick so i can stop begging people for rides.thanks

www.hmotorsonline.com is pretty decent it was only $100 more then the shop that I got mine from. You could check ebay too if you want and dare to get a motor swap from there, I buy other stuff but don't know anyone that got there swap there.

Do a search in the accord forums for h22 its been covered alot and ppl helped me on mine for info so there is alot of sites and links
