Intermitant Tachometer & Charge Light (90 Accord)

Intermitant Tachometer & Charge Light (90 Accord)
Anyone have any ideas on what would make the Tachometer and charge light come one and off randomly??
The Tach over the last month about every third time I start the car will not respond. It sits on Zero. The sometime in my drive it will literally "jump" to life. Nothing seams to consistently cause it to wake up. (Like bumps, other switches, etc.) It also seams to be getting more frequent.
My charge will come on randomly as well and "seams" to go off when another electrical item is used (such as turn sigs) but not all the time. This has been going on for about 3 months but I have NEVER had any other electrical troubles in the mean time. Always have juice and have never gone dead.
Both of these have no affect on the motor. It runs like a charm.
I read about the "coil" fix for the tach but that seamed to apply to 95 and later accords.
Any ideas? I plan to replace my dash (Stupid thieves tore it up taking my very plain radio) in the next few weeks so I will be in there already. (Both of these issues were there before the radio was taken.
