whud up people, had a few questions and concerns... pulled up at a ride light beside a fixed up gsr integ.. i KNEW i was gonna dust this fool so i let him get a head start then slamed on the gas.. to my amazment he was neck to neck with my cord and i was shocked... WHY WASNT I BEATING HIM., AND YO IM NOT RUNNING STOCK.. (aem cold air intake, greddy catback, comptech headers) and SINCE ITS A V6 what went wrong??? help... the only reason i have is that i got a huge sub box , worn out front tires and i let him have a head start.. are gsr's supposed to be fast??? i was doing all this upgrades to hang with wrx's and shi but to go neck to neck with a gsr,,,dangggggg i need help.

 

hmm...gsr's can do a 14.9 with bolts on's
and my friend with a LS (header and full catback did a 15.2) so...
you can maybe do a mid 15...

wrx's can do like 12's with like no add-ons, lol...so im not sure where you are pulling your info.

 

accord = not a race car
GSR weighs much less than your accord. with mods and all probably a 20-25hp difference.....accord = tank ,.....gsr = feather

 

Thrust to weight ratio. He beat you because of that reason.

 

which v6 model do you have a 6 gen with 200 hp or the 7 gen with 240 hp. because I have a gsr and wouldnt back down to either one.

I would say its the 200hp....doubtful the gsr would take the 240hp v6.

 

If you have a 6th gen you have an auto 200 hp, which means your putting down like 160-170 to the wheels. A GSR 5-spd will put down like 150 to the wheels. In a much lighter car. The lesson of the day is power to weight ratio > # of cylinders.

 

Sorry you won't keep up to a WRX. Stick to picking on stock integras.
