Default Timing belt time?

I have over 182K miles on my '95 Accord EX. I replace the timing belt the first time back at 96K miles. I know it's getting close to time again.

How far can I really expect these belts to go?

Thanks.

probibly recomended at around 80000 miles, I would change it ASAP. Do the water pump and balance shaft belt at the same time. parts will be around $125.00

i think its time for my timing belt to be changed, where would u get the parts for timing belt, water pump and balance shaft. is it something that could be done yourself or have to take to like a honda dealership, what would be the average cost of labor.

Default can someone tell me what a "balance shaft" is?

I was just browsing and read the "timing belt" question because I was curious to see when to change it. I bought my Honda accord at 166k and I don't know when it was last changed so I did it right after I bought the car. I also had the water pump replaced at the same time but the dealership never said anything about a "balance shaft" and was just wondering what that was.

Thanks!

I've seen guys do them in under an hour . Normally takes about 2 hours. Book pays 6.5 on most.

guys remember to replace all seals. a seal broke n my engine and lots of oil leak and cost me a few hundreds to get it fix. the first time a crappy machanic replace the timing belt and everything he did was a crappy job so i had everything redo but forgot to buy new seals thinking the seals the first mechanic used were still good and i was wrong, few hundred miles after it broke and now i am broke lol.
