Default Cabin air filter

Anyone know how often you are supposed to replace the cabin air filter in the Accords? I've had mine in for about 5 years now. I think it might be time.

It would help if you gave your year of accord.

The manual says every 30K under normal conditions....so yeah, you're probably due. And like said above, there is a DIY I did in the DIY forum if you need it.

Damn Mine starts to reek after about 35k miles because of all the crap that gets in the filter and gets moldy or whatever. Kinda smells like urine. But yeah, like they said, every 30k. Very easy thing to install, Jschmid did a great write up.

when i changed my cabin filter it was a pain in the rear.

There is a bar that runs horizontal to the floor that you have to remove in order to take out the filter.
I had a huge problem removing my glove box.

Yeah I had already taken out my glvoe box so I did it in like 30 seconds. It's kind of tricky to get out, you have to pull a certain way. The metal bar requires removing 2 bolts
