Default just installed headers, car sounding like sh*t

ok the headers are installed, the prob is the O2 senor wires dont reach, so thats two O2 sensors that are not in.
the CEL is on (duh) and the car is sounding like total shit at 3,000rpms but it seems like that is where it is the worst at. even when i connect the O2 sensor will the car still sound like there is a major exhaust leak? the car only makes the sound while im driving.

Of course it sounds like shit. You currently have 2 holes in the exhaust without the o2 sensors in. It probably runs like shit as well, the ecu uses those sensors to adjust your a/f mix. Put the sensors in asap and triple check to make sure everything is gasketed and bolted up tight. BTW what are you running for exhuast? That could be part of the sound problem too.

If your CEL is on. The wiring job you did probably isnt cutting it.

How many headers did you put on it? That's your problem right there.

its on one of the pipes. and mr.hyde is probably right, the wiring job wasnt "professional" but its on one solo pipe. somebody said that might be the reason. but the sound is pissin me off, there are no leaks but when driving it makes the hissing-type sound.
