no leaks, the other hole is pluged up by a steel bolt designed to plug. even if there was a leak wouldnt it be heard while revving in N? because it doesnt, only hisses around the 3,000 area(while driving). some guy said it was harmonically tuned but damn that sound isnt exactly cool.

maybe you would be better off if you just replace the o2 sensors with new units....

if that doesn't work maybe you should take a good look at your headers.... especially at the welds to see if there are any cracks....

Cut the wire back till you have about 3/8 of clean wire showing. Cut you a piece of heatshrink about 2 inches long and slide it over each wire coming from 1 side. Put some flux on the ends of each wire end and then proceed to tin them with some rosin core solder or silver solder and a soldering iron. After each end is tinned, hold each pair of wires together and heat the ends with the iron. The solder pre tinned to the wires will fuse to create a tight bond and electrical connection. Once each wire is completely soldered together, slide the heatshink down over the soldered joint. Heat the heatshrink with a heat gun, but you can use a lighter if you are very careful and take your time.

Repairing the wires this way will make a permanent electrical connection and ensure you that this isn't the problem again if this doesn't fix the issue.

I beleve tha tO2 sensors are analog. and therefore a bad wiring job will affect the "calibration" of the sensor and results in incorrect readings. If the output from the sensor to the ECU falls outside a normal range of values. The ECU does a "Scooby Doo" and goes "WI Won't Woo". And runs in Limp Mode to Failsafe Mode which means the engine will run...but run like shit.
