odd that you still have the egr code. the pic of the hatch's h22 that looks like the egr isnt even hooked, he may have made/got a plate to block the ports all together.

about the secondary runners. have no clue, dont have them.

I only picked '97 Prelude at random - I don't know which other years have that too...

You need the vacuum reservoir bottle, the IAB solenoid valve, & wiring connections to the ECU. Oh yeah, you need an ECU that's programmed to drive that system.

Like I said, check the Prelude forum, since those guys would know about it. If it were an Integra B18C1, I could tell you what wiring connections are needed.

Clogged EGR port on the intake manifold. Youll have to take the IM off and clean out that port.

I'm going to try using seafoam and see if that helps. So I would have to take of the intake manifold to clean the port? If I have to I will do so, just doesn't sound to fun, if I take it apart I would probably take out the secondary runner setup.

Default Same problem

It seems your having the same problem i am. I have an 89 prelude, 2.0. I pulled the vacuum line to the egr valve, and theres no vacuum. I replaced the egr solenoid in the control box, and still nothing. Im in the same boat, confused as all heck, and not knowing how to fix this thing. Im thinking of just junking the car and buying something else.

Well I still have same prob. I was wondering if the prelude egr conrtol solienod box is different then the accords? I replaced my accord egr control solienod box with one from the junkyard and the car was being funky I think it was keeping the egr valve open all the time so I put the old one back in and well same thing I get a cel code 12
