Wow, that 89 was mint! I would liked to have had it! Not too long ago I bought a 1983 Accord sedan SE in good condition for cheap.. engine ran like a raped ape and the car never gave me any trouble. I later sold it to a co-worker who is still driving it problem-free. I liked the body style, and the car drove/handled/rode very nicely.

Stock:
I like the 6th gen. body style, and especially the coupe,
then the 7th gen. next, for h.p.

With wheels and a drop:
7th gen., then 6th gen., then 5th. I saw a charcoal 7th gen. sedan one day at work with 17" wheels and a nice drop (about a finger width) It looked on par with a beemer.

One thing I like about 5th gen. Accords is that the body style still looks reasonably up-to-date for how old they are.

The 4th gens. seem a little too Civic-ish to me now since Accords have gotten bigger, but they are still great cars.

I like the 4th gen the best. Something about the front, it just clicks, flows together nicely.

And I own one

My dad has a 4th gen. and it's been a good car for him so far. In fact he loves it. He can't get over how reliable it's been and how good it still drives.

3RD Gen Sedan

Anything after 3rd Gen has too many curves for my taste.

The Tail lights on the US 6th gen coupe, I always loved that NSX-ish look. I wish they would have stolen S2000 styling ques for the 7th gen USDM.

I also really like the 7th gen JDM Accord....so glad we got the TSX here now

But one of my all time favorite Accord's would be the European Accord Type-R, it was the car that got me looking at Accord's when I was shopping for a new car back in 2000.

I can't say I really dislike any Accord, though the 7th gen wasn't a huge hit for me right away...again so glad Honda gave us the choice of the TSX if need be..
