Default Is my '90 Accord worth it?

Hey all, if this is the wrong place to ask this, no worries, but I am new, and have a question for some experts!
I have recently gotten into customizing my car...my 2003 Accord. (will post pics as soon as I get my projectors installed) I have a 90 Accord coupe that I have let go into disrepair over the last few months, it was a very good car, and still could be, but it needs a new exhaust and a new water pump. It also has 150,000 miles on it.

I see a lot of the 90-92 accords on these boards, but my question is, is are those cars special? I mean, I am a new mom, and I hate getting the baby in the backseat of a coupe, not to mention getting lazy and tired of the way the manual transmission feels. I am at the point of just scrapping the thing, and calling the junkyard.
What do you think?
thanks =)

Yeah a 4th gen. with ONLY 150k will last for a lot longer than you think and you would be a good starter car for someone young to buy. Water pump and OEM exhaust would only cost 400 bucks total including labor. My 4th gen is over 216k now and still is in great shape. If you don't want to keep it I suggest selling it.

Welcome to HAN.

I hear that. I know i would be glad to take it off their hands too. I give you at least what the junk yard would give you. I wonder if an H22a Coupe is that much faster than my sedan? It would be nice to have twins. Im sure my gurl would enjoy driving it also, when it was done anyway. I absolutely love the 4th gen. I guess because they look so much like the 6th gen you just dont feel like you car is that old. Feels like it is just barely 8 insted of almost 16(mine is a 10/89).

4th Generation Accords were the best Accords ever made IMO. The reliability, the looks, the overall feel of the car. The 5th, 6th generation accords don't even come close.
