Default Which Oil Filter is the Best?

Hi guys,

Which oil filter is the best? I understand that FRAM is crap? What are other choices (besides sprining 11 bucks for Mobil 1 Synthetic Oil Filter)?

Thx

We had a discussion about this in class at UTI & believe it or not the stock filter is one the best filters for your car, it was specifically made for your car, and plus it was made to last a lot longer than name brand filters.

here we go again....

Honda OEM filters i believe are out of FRAm material, this means that Fram are good for daily and normal use.

if you want to go better, than by all means go better but dont downgrade Fram, ive been using it on all cars and havent had any problems...

thanks

edit: the older fram;s were oem's...my bad.

Hi,

I am just repeating what I read on some of the posts (i.e. that fram is der shiese/crap). On my 02 Camry I use Toyota Genuine Oil Filters and Mobil 1 Synthetics. On Honda I think I will use the new Honda OEM oil filter and 0W-20 Mobil 1 Synthetic.

I use K&N oil filters with Mobil 1 oil. When I buy a bunch at a time they are a little less than $9 each.

Whats wrong with Fram filters I've been using them for years and had no trouble. I really like the grip the fram filters come with it makes those oil changes easier to deal with.
