Default Quick question on a H22 hp and.......

I was thinking about putting an H22 in my 98 accord I4. But before I put it in I wanted to put a better cam, port and polish, pullies and injectors, fuel rail, headers, exhaust and so on. I know how much the H22 is and the hp is 200. What do think the hp will be if I add all the stuff I said above. I know it would very expensive but it's cool! I want to get the most hp at of it with out going turbo or nitrous.

my estimates (speaking from real life experience):

1/. H22 swap - 3000
2/. Full head work: 400
3/. Larger Intake Manifold: 600 (custom) to 2000 (Endyn's)
4/. Header: 600 (custom)
5/. Exhaust: 500
6/. Pulley's set. 350
7/. Intake: 120
8/. Fuel management and tuning (hondata + misc): 1000

+ labor and tuning will yield you about ~225whp max, may be 250 at crank.

Ahh the Htwizzie, with my h22a I'm at headers, intake, exhaust. For intake manifold & cams I heard skunk has the good stuff. Pulleys & fuel rail AEM and a port & polish is going to cost you 700-800. You can have someone tune your ecu, get it chipped, go with hondata or uberdata.

My H22a engine/tranny/ecu in my 95 with labor/headers and new o2 cost me $3,500 installed.

Just add up what 94AccordEX estimated cost and u see what your looking at

My suggestion just get the swap done first and then go from there. Then you can decide what to do from there man.

Not tryin to flame you but you should shop better.
1. H22 swap - 2750
2. Intake manifold from Blacktraxperformance.com - 325
3.Custom Header - 400
4. Exhaust ( you can buy mid piping from summit for only 125 and then get a muffler you want and boom you have cat back exhaust for like 300)
5. Unorthodox Pulleys are 275 a set.

I also agree with the wheel hp sounds bout right. If he is goin to do all of that i suggest he gets a bad ass clutch and go with Fidanza flywheel (8lbs.)

Those accords are kinda heavy so gut that SOB!

No noob, see what I said by estimates? I can get better deals on these. The prices I've listed are the averages because some do not get good deals as others. Also, I've assuming he'd get better quality parts. I did not go and search for prices for him, I just estimate the average range of costs that people been ordering.

Thanks for the help everyone, I'm going to get some prices and estimates on a bunch of stuff and find out if it is worth the money. Like I said above, not to worried about the money, I just want as much hp out of the motor. I want to make my accord a fast ass sleeper!

get the swap, a custom average turbo kit boosting at 5-7psi daily. It's about the same price for better bang of the bucks.
